If you're cleaning a flat hot plate, use a 'cup brush' and let the brush do the work. DON'T PRESS DOWN TOO HARD, otherwise you could scratch the surface of your grill plate.
If you're cleaning a regular Grill (with gaps), stand to one side of your BBQ to clean using the 'wheel' brushes. Tip:
If you're standing on the left hand side of the grill, put your drill in 'forwards' direction. This will send any material from the grill towards the lid and not onto the ground in front of your BBQ
If you're standing on the right hand side of the grill, put your drill in 'reverse' direction. This will send any material from the grill towards the lid and not onto the ground in front of your BBQ
SAFETY
Make sure you wear safety glasses and gloves.
Don't drink and GrillBit.
Keep well away from long hair! (Seriously, tie it back).
Keep away from your clothing.
Keep away from your skin (seriously, don't touch the brushes while they're spinning, (or not spinning) - really ouchy).
When in use, make sure there are no kids, friends or pets nearby
When not in use, keep away from kids
While Grillbit can be used on hot and cold grills, do not use GrillBit if there is excessive hot oil on a hotplate which could be ejected onto you or someone you love.
